Romeo Ciolfi

Hey, that’s me!   My latest screenplay was written in 10 days.  I have a tight deadline for the end of this month, so I wrote non-stop to get a rough draft complete.  Time for re-writes!   Sometimes when you’re forced to write to a deadline, your ideas flow more freely (because they have no choice).  I think the key is not to be too precious or over think.  Just write.  Sounds easy, it’s not, but the more you do it, the “easier” it gets.

UPDATES:

Screenplay BREAK AWAY has been entered into The Daryl Duke Prize   Here’s a short synopsis:

When demons from his past come back to haunt an artistic father, his life-long struggle with mental illness resurfaces and throws his family into turmoil, threatening his son’s burgeoning hockey career.

My play ANIMAL has been entered into the New Play Contest for the Toronto Fringe Festival.

If you’re a writer out there, how fast have you written a script of yours?
