I’ve been working with this group of actors the last couple months and this weekend after many hours of rehearsal, Heaven & Earth opens. One of the things I like most about directing a show is seeing people learn something new. This entire cast (along with a group of singers) are made up of volunteers, some of which have little acting experience. It’s a challenge to put a show on like this which deals with some heavy themes and big ideas. And although the journey of getting to this point was arduous at times, it’s always worth the struggle when the lights go up and it’s show time.
If you have some time, come out and see Heaven & Earth playing at the Stone Church,
Saturday November 30 @ 7pm and Sunday December 1 @ 11am & 6pm.
Romeo….This play was so touching and had me in tears a few times…This was your best work since I have been in the Stone Church and My girlfriend said your work keeps on getting better and this is the fourth play she has seen…..Great work Romeo
Hi Romeo, wish I wasn’t so far away–I’d be attending for sure! Great cast shot, and I’m excited for all of you. Best of luck to you with the show. As with all of your other creative endeavors, I know the play will be a great success because you touch the heart & soul with your words brought to life. Your audiences are in for a treat. God bless:)
Looking forward to seeing this Christmas play.
