Animal Synopsis

  Raina Shepherd is a sick woman:  schizophrenic, bipolar and manic depressive.   And she likes to bite.  To make matters worse, she’s off her medication.    A recent tragedy has shattered Raina’s world and she
has shut everyone out of her life including her psychiatrist, Dr Cranshaw.  When her brother Daniel and son Griffin come to the house at the urging of Dr. Cranshaw, what they find is a woman whose unhinged mental state terrifies them.  In the course of their tumultuous visit and while dealing with deep wounds of their own, Daniel and Griffin attempt to help Raina.  But it may be too late.  What unfolds is a number of searing revelation from their collective pasts that rock this already fragmented family to the breaking point.
